DARV AR App for kimæra MNMNTS
Augmented Reality Art in public space in Linz, Arad, Timisoara, Bucharest
Florian Weinrich, the developer of the DARV App customised it to showcase in the public space of 4 cities the project kimæra MNMNTS by kinema ikon at the MAFA'23 festival.
The first city was Linz where kimæra MNMNTS were implemented in different locations and shown during the Ars Electronica Festival 2023. The kimæra project was part of the Ars Electronica Gardens exhibitions at Postcity.
The kimæra project by kinema ikon, composed of 9 works made by 12 artists, aims to become a hybrid body, an interactive digital meta-installation where each work/module is functional as a part and as a whole.
In the kimæra MNMNTS for each module, an avatar is created to display the characteristics stats in public spaces as Augmented Reality.
